English Websites about Dalian

There's not much English language information on the internet about Dalian. And that's why we made this site. But in the spirit of information sharing, we'd like to introduce to all the sites that are out there, just in case you might not be aware of them:
  • DalianDalian.com Well, we have to mention our own of course! I use this site as a resource more than I use any other Dalian website. That's part of the reason why we built it. But we hope you'll find it useful too! Map integration, categorized restaurant and bar listings (by location and type), up-to-date Dalian news feeds, plus a forum to boot! Ta-dah!
  • DalianXpat.com A good forum on Dalian. This site has been going for a while, and the forum is pretty lively. Many of us here on DalianDalian.com try to contribute to information sharing over there every now and then. It's a good chat community that we won't hesitate to link to.
  • Dalian Runsky No one is quite sure yet what Runsky means, or even how it's pronounced. For all your government approved news stories, this is where it's at. If you can read Chinese, their Chinese site is far more useful, especially the housing section.
That's about it, as far as general information goes. With the exception of Wikipedia of course... Now on to the blogs. There's quite a few, some new, some old -- I'll try to keep the new ones near the top: And lets not forget our DalianDalian.com Blogs:

Thanks

Hey Rick,

Just wanted to say that you got the makings of a great site here. I just accidentally ran into it today after doing searches on google for Dalian.  As you might expect its been a slow day today at work and I'm in Atlanta, GA on business.  I've been out here for 6 weeks and look forward to getting back to Dalian next week, so I wanted to see whats been going on in the city and ran into this site.  I especially like the intergrated map, but I do find that once I click on a particular restaurant that some has posted, it will go the page which includes the map, but the map seem to zoom out where the entire city is shown, with a bunch of multiple landmarks being chosen and I cannot figure out where the restaurant is located.  I am using Mozilla Firefox by the way.... anyways, just an FYI... the site looks great and I hope its a success.  Thanks again.
